Ok heres some info I found.. I might try this so I can help people more. Like I said I dont do IKS but I might get one here soon so I can look into this private card share setup.


basic things you will need

-needs rqcs binaries
-iso reader (not and unlocker)(not needed if you decide to use dreambox, beware you need to know linux to even consider the dreambox route and its far easier to run from your desktop pc with an iso reader or 2 anyhow)
-need subbed cam to share (can test with 102 for now but not much left)
-need jtag and a jtaggable receiver you can get the boxkeys and secondary key off from or already have them off from (if you have the .bn102 image saved somewhere open in gendt08 and there ya go)
-soldering iron and ability to solder
-ability to read and apply information from guides above and rqcs.conf commentations
-maxmels for every dish receiver you intend to be a client and the rqclient software running on each client pc the maxmel is connected to


So your gonna want to google stuff like this

PCS works well with Dreambox, some/most CW models, neosat - depends on what receiver you have or want to use. Either way you will need a receiver that supports RQCAMD and RQCS. I'd suggest searching for RQCAMD and RQCS. It's a little more involved and takes a little more trial and error by you to set up, but well worth it and secure as long as you have taken the right steps. I have posted a how to for Dreambox in the forums here, but that's the platform I use, which I am familiar with. There are a lot of good how to's out there. But google RQCAMD and RQCS. Take a trip to R****s site. You will find more than enough info...be prepared to do alot of reading. Good luck.

Correct on all counts

IKS is unsafe in plug & play mode, which most people (free tv'ers) are doing.

The wifi hot spot and the coffee can thingy should keep you relatively safe, but if it looks like things are heating up, get ready to pull the plug. FYI when you log on to a wifi there is record on the server, however most people don't know where to look to see if they are sharing their connection.

SKS looks very promising, but it doesn't appear anyone is going to step up and make the investment.

tier hack isn't wide open. Richie posted that Ilink had a tier hack a couple of weeks ago, but lots of freezing at the time. But I can't remember how many tier's there is on a card. I just like reading this stuff.
