Channels Moving To Nagra3
NOVEMBER 12, 2008
ALL CHANNELS ON BEV 82W & 91W HAVE NOW GONE TO N3 COMPLETELY.........THERE IS NO FIX AND THERE WON'T BE ONE SOON.... SO PLEASE STOP..... CREATING THREADS THAT ARE USELESS ASKING WHY MY CHANNELS ARE NOT WORKING HOW DO I GET THOSE CHANNELS BACK WHEN A FIX WILL COME OUT I READ 100 OTHER THREADS OF PEOPLE ASKING ABOUT CHANNELS!!!!!!!!!! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE THAT PEOPLE DON'T READ??? COME ON, IT IS PLAIN SIMPLE.....YOU WILL NOT GET THOSE CHANNELS BACK ANY TIME SOON..... I haven't seen anything like that... I can tell you that production has slowed but I heard to be available for needed mods to accommodate change rather than scrapping production.. If it were all over they wouldn't be doing this...think about that... I'd say its a good sign.

I don't usually write much, but I guess today I feel compelled.....
When Dave's H cards went down, the world was ending. Then the HU cards appeared. Some time later, the HU cards went down, so the world was ending again. Then I discovered that FTA was available and for the last 5 years, all has worked like a charm. Now N3 is coming and the world is ending again. They are surely working on a fix, and if they can't "fix" it, then folks, there will be something else to replace FTA. There is always something else to replace what we lost. We need to be patient and trust that the devs will come up with it. I purchased a Pansat 9200 about 5 months ago. I knew what I was getting into (the advent of N3) and I have enjoyed the 5 months that I have had it. Will it work with N3, I don't know for sure...One thing I am sure of is that soon enough, I'll find out. Tonight I hope to watch the Coutoure vs. Lesnar fight and while I am doing that, I'll lift my beer bottle to my receiver and along with my friends, toast the good folks that have made this possible for so long, the hobby, and my friends at HashHu, always there to help...If I can't watch the fight, I will watch college football in my backup paid Dave subscription. THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. Peace....

Can't someone write a decyhper based on Nfusion?
Look at the FBI's Wifi hack. If we can tell what data is coming and out P2P should be able to eventually unlock it. CPUs and GPUs can crack the math! Two sources can be used BEV AND DISH.

everyone needs to chilll Im a installer been in this since the beginning ..... they have all ready busted into the n3 ... now on the specs of how strong your reciever is going to have to be i dont know .... meaning processor power... they havent changed much lol truth be known they probley made a less sucure move. think about it hard dave used to have all the subscribers when you could hack it cause everybody had a back up sub..... now charles is the power house..... they know its cause people have sub back ups . .... im not worried about it at all.... now something no one seems to be talking about is the new eastern ark sats transition thats going on its called the 1000.4 dish 61.5 72 and 77 they have sent us a bunch they are hard to tune in and you got to have a satbuddy to do it... dont know the specs they have not briefed us on why our old channel masters wont work but we tried and they wont something about transponders the dish looks just like a 1000.2 but 1 lnb is farther out. and it has fine tuning on it like the wildblue dishes... oh yeah guys if you are down low in trees you will like these elevation is like 45 or something all those sats are real high.....

I don't have BEV and don't want it. I have always had Starchoice and intend to keep it. My FTA was to replace my Directv that was costing me almost 80.00US a month. So if I lose a little US TV for a while, that is ok, I can wait till they get it up and running again. Everyday that I can watch my favourite US channels free is a bonus. I agree it is frustrating. I gave up waiting for a fix for the Directv systems which never materialized. I have just bought my first FTA receiver, and yes bad timing, but I have patience. I just wish I had the know how and ability of the people who do the coding. Hats off folks, I should be that smart.

yes, patience is the word.... the receiver u got now, u would pay so much more for it if it works with n3..... if n3 gets hacked and they release a fix for ur receiver, am sure it will be double the money u paid now.... so, buying it is not a waste, u never know.....

I think this is a very well topic to post here as it lets some vent in a more controlled manner? I have looked after a few people over the past few years a non profit deal only (no siht). I have told anyone and everyone in the past 3 months that wishes for an FTA or other method of purchase to gain any kind of access to hlod on to thier money until a release in in agreement? the Hobby as we know it has changed -and some means will also- but let time dictate the order in which Charlie and Bev, will get thiers..,lol It is comming and it is sweet!
I bought a few dozen cards in the beginning of the 102 card and the price well exceeded any FTA unit sold today and well yes you guessed it i fcuked every one of them cards and learnt a lot from it on not what to do again the loss was great! i felt it? But that is a Very Big part of this Hobby and I Love it! The heat is in the oven and im not movin.., Hope this helps some realize thier losses are minor in comparison to most that have been around in this Hobby for a while!
